AQUATICS - FITNESS

The AEA, which sets the standard in excellence for aquatic exercise worldwide, has recognized the HealthPlex as a Gold Level Aquatic Fitness Facility.
We offer a wide variety of programs to help increase your fitness level as well as programs that teach you new, lifelong skills such as our Learn-To-Swim Program. Contact our Aquatics Staff for more information.
The Therapy Pool is CLOSED for Physical Therapy on Monday - Friday from 2-3:30pm.
The Therapy Pool is CLOSED on Saturdays, 9:30am-12pm and Sundays from 10:30am-12:30pm for swim lessons.
The Lap Pool is reserved on Sunday evenings at 5:45pm starting Sunday, October 23.
Impact Free Aqua
Water exercise is a great way to start a fitness program or diversify your current workout routine. The buoyancy of the water helps support the body during movement to give you increased range of mobility. You can safely perform exercises that you may not be able to do on land. Classes held on Wednesdays at 8pm and Sundays at 1:10pm.
Cost is FREE for Members, $9 per class for NonMembers

Aqua ZUMBA! Mondays and Fridays at 1pm - Starting in October
Try out this fun dance inspired cardio workout in the pool! You'll burn calories and have a great time!
Cost is FREE for Members and $9/Class for NonMembers (Non Members can puchased classes in packages of 4 ($34), 8 ($67) and 12 ($97))

Master Swim
Triathletes, weekend warriors, and lap swimmers are invited to our 3 month program that provides structured swim workouts from Sea Wolves Head Coach Aaron Dorfman. In order to join the masters swim group, you must be able to do one length in the lap pool unassisted. Swimmers should be comfortable circle swimming and sharing lanes with other participants.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30-6:45am
Cost for Session: $75 for Members, $115 for NonMembers

Whether your priority is weight loss, hard-core training or injury rehab, our team of certified AEA aquatic personal trainers are here to help you. Resistance without the impact. If your regular "land" workout is causing pain, then try including HydroTone in your workout routine for better, well-rounded training. Specially designed equipment is used to maximize resistance in all dimensions of movement without impact. Professional athletes, including the Dallas Cowboys, recognize the benefit of HydroTone and so will you. The equipment is now available anytime to current session participants. Taught by a certified aquatic personal trainer, the class is limited to five participants. Please call Nancy Doak at 624-1053 for more information.
Cost for 6-Week Session: $109 for Members, $149 for NonMembers  FREE for Members! Have you every tried spinning....in the water? Hydrorider is perfect for all fitness levels, from post-rehab to the most accomplished athlete. Morning and evening classes are available. See the aquatic fitness schedule for days and times. Space is limited to 12 participants per class, reserve your bike at the Service Desk or call 624-1871.
Shorts recommended. Aqua shoes required.
 Aquatic pre-natal exercise is the ideal program for the mom-to-be. If you are looking to decrease your labor time by at least two hours, get back to your pre-pregnancy weight, have fun socializing with other expectant moms and prepare your newborn for the stress of labor and delivery--then pre-natal aquatic exercise is just for you! All members must pre-register for this free class on a monthly basis at the Concierge desk. A physician's consent form is required for acceptance into the program.

KAYAK ROLLING
Brush up on your kayak rolling skills or just enjoy kayaking indoors during the long winter months. This is an open session for members and nonmembers.
