Swedish Massage
Created in the beginning of the 19th century, this massage system has evolved into the standard in Western civilization. Deep tissue or relaxing Swedish massage consist of kneading, stroking, friction, tapping (percussion), and vibration with over 800 techniques designed to stimulate circulation, increase muscle tone, improve joint movement, soothe nerves and create an all-around balance to the structure and function of the muscular-skeletal system.

Sports Massage
The goal of treatment is to increase the circulation, flexibility, and mental clarity of the individual to improve athletic performance. It does not replace the athletes' warm-up but compliments it. This is not a deep massage but a brisk invigorating variation of sports massage strokes and stretching techniques. It allows a therapist to energize or calm an individual, as needed (usually to specific muscles, as required for a particular sport). Sport massages can be used before, during, or after an event.

Myofascial Release
A highly specialized stretching technique designed to unwind fascia, the thin layer of tissue that covers and connects the muscles, organs and skeletal structures of the body. Gently stretching the fascia with this therapeutic touch releases bonds and restrictions. Pain is dramatically reduced and range of motion increased.

Pre-Natal Massage Variety
During the 40-weeks of pregnancy, a woman's body goes through complex changes as it prepares for childbirth. This therapeutic bodywork focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the natural development of child-birthing. Massage therapy enhances muscle joint function, improves circulation and body tone, while relieving mental and physical fatigue experienced during pregnancy.

Cranio-Sacral Therapy
A very powerful, yet subtle energy therapy done on the recently recognized cranio-sacral system comprised of the membranes and cerebral spinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. The use of soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, is all the pressure needed.
Release of restrictions in this system help improve the function of the Central Nervous System. A healthy nervous system bolsters resistance to disease with positive effects on chronic neck and back pain, migraine headaches, motor-coordination impairment, chronic fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Tempromandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ) and a host of other ailments. Cranio-sacral therapy compliments and allows the natural healing process of the human body.

Hot Stone Massage
Heated stones have been used as a means of improving digestive function and enhancing overall metabolism. Stress, tension, and tired muscles are melted away by warmed basalt stones (usually tumbled) that are skillfully placed and pressed on the skin that has been prepared with oil. This increasingly popular form of massage therapy combines massage techniques with elements of nature. The result is a massage experience unlike any other.
