Mercy Health offers comprehensive medical, dental, vision, prescription and Flexible Spending plans for employees, helping employees be well – mind, body and spirit.

Medical Insurance

Mercy Health offers two plan options; a Traditional Plan and a High Deductible Plan. Both plans offer three tiers of coverage, including Domestic Network, PPO and Non-Network (Out of Network). Coverage is available the first of the month following date of hire. There are free preventative screenings, per plan.

Dental Insurance

Comprehensive coverage, including fully-paid preventative care.

Vision Program

Your choice of a wide range of providers with shared cost for exams, glasses and contacts.

Prescription Drug Plan

Comprehensive plan, managed through Catalyst Rx.

Flexible Spending Accounts

An option to set aside pre-tax dollars on a regular basis to pay for certain reimbursable healthcare and dependent care expenses.

Disability (Short-term, Long-term)

Up to 60 percent of base pay rate for eligible employees.

The LIFT Program (Living Injury Free Together) Program

One of the most advanced services available to healthcare organizations, the LIFT program, consists of ergonomic education and utilization of a variety of equipment to safely move patients at any level of mobility. Through the program, we aim to create a culture of safety for both patients and employees.


Health and Wellness - My Health First Programs

Healthy Eating

Our cafeterias provide healthy fare to help employees eat right. There are many healthy choices labeled with nutritional information for convenience.

Health Risk Assessment

Employees are encouraged to participate in a free annual screening through an online questionnaire, blood pressure, weight, body mass index, waist circumference, blood sugar and cholesterol level testing. Once employees know their numbers, they can get advice on goal-setting and coaching opportunities. 

Diabetes Management Program

This program encourages partnership with your doctor and adherence to evidence-based care for your diabetes. This program reduces the cost and barriers associated with good medical care of employees and their covered family members with diabetes.

Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)

Mercy Health employees and members of their household have access to confidential and professionals  who can assist with personal and family issues. 

Wellness Coaches

You can work with a Wellness Coach at your worksite over the phone or eCoaching to help set and achieve goals toward a healthier you.

Mercy HealthPlex Discounted Memberships

As a Mercy Health employee, you can join the HealthPlex at deeply-discounted membership rates. Mercy Health has three conveniently-located facilities (Anderson, Fairfield and Western Hills) with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, pools, classes and amenities.
