Community Involvement
As a mission-based organization, Mercy Health is committed to being a strong corporate citizen, providing care to those who can’t afford it through our social services agencies and facilities. We offer assistance to uninsured and underinsured patients by helping them apply for financial assistance and receive care when in need.
We also have a strong commitment to diversity to ensure our employee population reflects the various backgrounds and faiths of those we serve. In addition, our supplier diversity program is a system-wide effort to increase the number of small, minority and women-owned businesses who provide goods and services to our hospitals and facilities. This ensures we support grass-roots economic development to encourage growth and stability for a healthy community.
