Mercy Health Young Leaders

Mercy Health Young Leaders (MHYL) is an organization of young, professional, service-oriented individuals that help promote and raise funds for the social services work that Mercy Health – St. John, a social service agency located in Over-the-Rhine, does in the community.

MHYL activities are focused on volunteer and social fundraising activities that help engage the community and provide an opportunity to network with other young leaders and professionals.

Mercy Health Young Leaders provide an array of volunteer opportunities that range from the annual holiday gift wrapping of Christmas presents for needy families; food, clothing and toy drives; helping with youth programs; volunteering during the Mercy Health – St. John’s Summer in the City celebration; and monthly volunteer opportunities at the Lunch Window.

MHYL also conducts an annual fundraiser—Friday Night Lights—that benefits Mercy Health – St. John.. This event attracts more than 300 guests and includes live entertainment, games, food and drinks. The event raises funds to support critically-important programs that St. John provides to the community, such as the youth development program, crises management and financial support.

Mercy Health Young Leaders is a part of the Mercy Health Foundation and Mercy Health. Mercy Health is an integrated healthcare system where dedicated people work together to achieve our Mission: To extend the healing ministry of Jesus by improving the health of our communities, especially the poor and under-served. The Mercy Health Foundation raises charitable gifts to further our mission and service those who need it most.
