Airy Hospital, our highly-trained orthopaedic surgeons, certified nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other experienced healthcare professionals work directly with patients to enlist a comprehensive, leading-edge approach to prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of all musculoskeletal injuries. Our orthopaedics program has been repeatedly recognized nationally for quality outcomes in general orthopaedics and joint replacements. In January 2011, Mt. Airy Hospital was designated a Blue Distinction Center for Hip and Knee Replacement by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In 2012, our program was ranked one of the top five programs in the state of Ohio.
